Born in England, Mark’s career started in marketing and market research for the travel and tourism industry which brought him to Asia to set up a branch of his UK consultancy.
From a base in Singapore, Mark moved into brand strategy and brand building and, more recently, into the human area of brand engagement and brand advocacy – where he was one of the first in Asia to introduce the brand advocacy concept so that all staff in an organisation can play their role in bringing the brand to life.
Mark has always had an interest in maximizing human potential, which took him into personal and team coaching. He’s undertaken many of the personality tests that form the basis of the work with his personal coaching clients and can be described as a nurturer, esteem-builder, strategist, storyteller and teacher.

In Mark you get an eclectic mix of skills that have at their core a disciplined and structured approach with solid empirical underpinning. One of his clients once described him as ‘visionary yet grounded’ something he saw as both accurate and a great compliment.

Although all workshops and programmes are normally undertaken in English, Mark has Indonesian facilitators if they is required. It’s important to note that Mark is intimately involved in all projects as both their architect and guardian.
He's a renowned expert in business strategy, marketing and branding, having worked on projects throughout Asia covering Brand Strategy and Brand Internalisation for some of Asia's top brands.
Mark has run management retreats for a number of international hotel groups, including Ritz Carlton and Shangri-La. He brings a fresh and innovative approach to management retreats - with an emphasis on corporate Vision and Purpose using U-Movement principles.
Strategic workshops have been conducted for Merck Pharmaceuticals (Singapore), Axis (Indonesia), Celcom (Malaysia) and Smart Communications (Philippines).

Mark spent many years researching and applying Appreciative Inquiry (AI) techniques and is at the cutting edge of applying Appreciative Inquiry to strategic, branding and marketing issues as well as personal and organisational development.
He is qualified as an Agent for Positive Change using Appreciative Inquiry's principles.
Using the principles of Appreciative Inquiry and his years of experience he also offers personal, executive and team coaching.
